Fire destroyed a home at 118 Hyndman Road just north of Ellerslie shortly before 3 a.m by two passersby who alerted nieghbors. Neighbors said the fire may have gone undetected for a while because the back of the house was a cherry red when he made the call to 911. We responded Engine Rescue and layed 5'' supply line from the state line to the fire scene and found a working fire. Firefighters made the inital attack just before other units arrived on the scene. The blaze extended throughout the residence and cause the floor to collapse resulting in minor injuries to a firefighter. Companies responded included Ellerslie, Corriganville, Hyndman, Mt.
